Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry/claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating all claimants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

Promoter: Princes Limited, Royal Liver Building, Pier Head, Liverpool, L3 1NX, UK

Eligibility: Entrants must be resident in the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) and be over 18 years of age. Employees of Princes Ltd (the ‘Promoter’), their immediate families, agencies, associates, printers or anyone else professionally connected with the promotion are excluded. Offer excludes residents of the Republic of Ireland.

Promotion Period: Promotion opens 1st May 2019 and closes 31st December 2019. New Zealand draw closes 30.8.19. Late entry draw closes 31.12.2019.

Entry Instructions: Entrants must purchase a promotional pack of Batchelors Peas, visit www.batchelorspeas.co.uk/promotions and enter the code from the inside of the wrapper and their details (name, address and email). Entrants must retain original promotional wrapper containing the unique code and their original till receipt dated prior to, or on the same day as their online entry.

Northern Ireland Only: To enter without purchase entrants must send their name, address and telephone number on a correctly labelled envelope with the correct postage to Batchelors 2018 Rugby League Offer NPN, PO Box 590, Preston PR5 6XU. We will make an entry on your behalf. All entries to reach the promoter before the closing date. Only one entry per envelope, no bulk entries, illegible, damaged and/or defaced entries will not be accepted. Please write legibly. Winners will be notified directly using the details supplied.



Prizes:

Period 1: 01.05.19 – 30.8.19.

Draw date – 7.9.2019.

Prize -Trip for two adults to Auckland to watch Great Britain Lions v New Zealand with £500 spending money towards expenses and other costs (or alternatively a £2000 cash prize). Economy Flights from London to Auckland included, transfers from and to Auckland airport to a 3 Star hotel. 12 nights accommodation and breakfasts included. Passport and visa restrictions may apply. Compliance and costs associated with Electronic Travel Authorisation and/or passport and visa requirements, travel insurance and all other ancillary matters and/or costs are the responsibility of the winner. Domestic transfers and transfers to and from the stadium and any other expenses not specifically set out as being part of the prize are not included. The prize is neither transferable nor refundable.

Event date – 2.11.19

The prize booking must be completed within 7 calendar days of the winner claiming the prize or the £2,000 cash alternative will be awarded.



Period 2: Late Entry Draw: 1.9.19 – 31.12 2019.

Winner selection. All eligible entries will be entered into each prize draw. All previous losers from the period 1 draw will be entered into Late Entry Draw too The winners will be selected via an independent person..

Winner notification. Winners will be notified by email (or via details supplied if a NI NPN entry) within 14 days of the draw and will have 7 days to claim their holiday prize. The shirt winner will have 28 days to claim their prize. In the case that winners do not respond in time, another winner will be selected using the same methodology as above, in such circumstances the prize claim timescales referred to may be shorter where the prize includes event attendance.

Claim Instructions: To claim their prize, entrants must then follow the instructions in the notification email, and (unless the Promoter, entirely at their own discretion, confirms that they do not require the entrant to do so) send in their promotional pack wrapper containing the unique code and their original till receipt dated before their online entry (no photocopies) to:

Only original promotional pack wrappers will be accepted. Prize claims are subject to an independent security check. The shirt will be dispatched within twenty eight (28) calendar days of receipt of a qualifying claim in accordance with these terms and conditions. We will liaise with you to arrange redemption of New Zealand trip prize.

Only valid unique promotional codes will be accepted. Each code can only be entered once. Manufacturer’s references or printing errors do not constitute valid codes. The Promoter does not assume any responsibility for codes damaged or defaced in the way the product packaging is opened. If you cannot read your code due to a genuine printing error, please return to the Promoter at the address above. Please include your name, email and full address details and a replacement code will be sent to you. Those who try to circumvent the code entry process and/or entry instructions by any method, will be disqualified and any prize will be void.

The Promoter takes no responsibility for prize winner's claims that are lost damaged or delayed in the post. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt or of prize entitlement.

No responsibility accepted for any incomplete, ineligible entries (which may be disqualified at the Promoter's discretion) or entries which fail to arrive by the specified closing date.

General: Names, counties and photographs of prize winners will be used for publicity purposes without any further recompense.

By entering the promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and by the decisions of the Promoter that are final in all matters relating to the promotion.

Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’ or any other automated means, that person’s entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.

There are no cash alternative to the GB shirt prize. There will be a £2000 cash alternative to the New Zealand prize. The prizes will only be awarded directly to the winners. Prizes are not transferable in any circumstances.

The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize of equal or greater value in the event of unavailability due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control.

The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for address and identity details (which they must provide within 14 calendar days) and refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotions entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means. The Promoter will be final arbiter in any decisions and these will be binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party (other than the Promoter’s agencies for the purpose of servicing/implementing the promotion and prizes without the individual’s prior consent. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects the proper operation of this promotion, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid disappointment.

A list of winner’s surnames and counties can be obtained sending a SAE to Batchelors Rugby League 2019 Offer, PO Box 590, Preston, PR5 6XU within 3 months of 31.03.2020.

If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.

Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on English law and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
